Since the age of two, drawing has been part of my life. I draw when I'm anxious, when I'm feeling joyful, when something meaningful happens to me. I could be inspired by a particular smell, a feeling, someone I glance at on the bus or in the street. I really enjoy working with characters and creating them, so I thought that animation would be a way to live out all my creativity.
The central theme of my project is communication difficulties in relationships, with a focus on the child-parent relationship. It deals with the crucial points of the teenage and growing up period, which can accompany the child in the long term as an adult. The individual finds it difficult to open up to the parent. Their feelings are not taken seriously, their problems are trivialised and they have to face everyday struggles alone. During the film the "main character" begins to communicate their problems. First of all to themselves, and then they can talk honestly to their mother. A conversation will develop where the two sides become equals and not only hear each other, but also listen to each other.
