I am fascinated with the big questions of existence, motifs and archetypes. At the same time, personal fates have become the focus of my interest in recent years. I am interested by situations and processes that traumatize the individual to such an extent that the development of the personality is pushed in the direction of pathological changes. I am most concerned with the adult effects of unprocessed childhood traumas.
I try to channel my interests in the former into experimental work, where the relationship between form and content is very important, while the latter I try to express through narrative storytelling that has a more 'classical' emotional impact. MOME Anim Alumni. Film Director.
"Abalé" is a grotesque live-action short film. I would like to portray rural Hungary and the everyday life of the people living in the countryside through the scenes of a pig slaughter. My main character is a woman who is over mid 30's. When she sees a younger girl she feels a competitive situation and starts flirting with the butcher guys to prove herself that she is valuable too.
