"1999" is a coming of age sci-fi animated short. Driven by his childish instincts, the Boy finds himself a strange hobby: he steals from toddlers. Toys, pacifiers, even diapers. In school, he has no friends or enemies, his only goal is to stay unnoticed and get as many treasures as possible. Until the Eclipse comes...

My story is about the fear of the unknown, what often leads us to a seemingly safe but toxic regression. I have this experience not only in myself, but also in most of my peers in our generation. I want to showcase this phenomenon through a surreal lens of a socially dysfunctional boy, who has a hard time to say goodbye to his childhood, and deal with the responsibilities of a new stage of life. 

I hope that my idea will someday become a great movie, and the Jumpstart programme has already helped me a lot in this.
