I am an animation designer from Budapest, who graduated from Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) in 2022 and currently I am studying animation at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Designe Budapest (MOME). Weird family dynamics, real life stories, absurd situations and mental health struggles are the main subjects of my film and illustration works.

My project called "Eruption" is about a girl, who sits in a crowded subway car on the way home. She can't evenstand to look at her own reflection. She passively listens to the conversations of other people around her, but hears only kindness. Every kind word pushes herdeeper into anxiety, until she is forced to zoom out into her own mind. After a panic attack she wakes up on a strange planet, where a volcanic eruption destroyed the living world. In the rest of the movie we follow the girl, as she goes on a journey to the bottom of the volcano and her unconsciousness. Following the remains of the lava, when she goes deep enough in it, she finallyfinds the root of the problem. Her childhood self still suffering from a pasttraumatic experience that haunts her until this day. This realization can be the base for her new relationship with herself.

The project is selected for CEE Animation Forum 2023.
