I am a director, editor and producer working with documentaries and narrative projects, located in Budapest with strong ties to Copenhagen. Since 2022 I am an elected board member of MADOKE, the Hungarian Documentary Association. My Danish-Hungarian co-production short, “I Miss You, Marius” (2021) received the Audience Award for the Best International Documentary at the 2022 Friss Hús Budapest International Short Film Festival, the Best Short Documentary award at Doc.Berlin and the Honorable Award by the Student Jury at Prague Science Film Festival. Now I am finishing my MA in documentary filmmaking at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest and have completed an MA in Film and Media at the University of Copenhagen. I am interested in telling unexpected stories in various ways and new forms.

I am working on a documentary project about the world of museum guards in Hungary. The project is following various characters, showing their everyday mundane life as observing those who observe. The film is structured around various chapters, each focusing on one guard as a main character. The chapters are executed through different formats of film, documentary, fiction (based on reality) and animation. (Or a mixture of all.) In these stories I am exploring the main theme of a valuable space, the act of guarding and the exchange between visitor and guards. Visually I am interested in the contrast between the stimulating environment and the guards, while looking for similarities of stillness of the work and and the stillness of the surrounding paintings and statues, yet I would like to not objectify my participants and highlight their humanity and presence.
