Angelos is a visual artist based in Athens, Greece. While studing in film school they got fascinated by the art of stop-motion animation, a technique that they love incorporating in their films. As a director their stop-motion animation short film "ERMA" got screened in various film festivals including Countryside Animafest Cyprus short film festival (Audience Award), International Shortfilm Festival of Cyprus (Special Mention), and Fringe Queer Film Festival in London. As a director of cinematography their short film "Tsoulakia" won an IRIS Award for the best student short film of the year in 2023. Also won the best student film Frida Liapa Award at Drama Shortfilm Festival in September 2022. Currently they live and work in Greece and Cyprus as a director, visual artist, editor and cinematographer in commercials, music videos, short and feature films. In their free time they love experimenting with analog and digital collage.
